To my son-in-law, Keith, for his graduation last night (he's the one on the right, next to his fellow worker/classmate!), after 5 long years, as an electrician's apprentice!! MANY long hours, after his long shifts, that he spent away from his family, to take classes that have awarded him the title of journeyman!!!! I had the pleasure of having Vince & Max last night, while he and Kathy spent some much needed time to themselves as ADULTS, during his graduation dinner ("Don't forget...you eat with a fork and a knife, not spoons!"
.
Today Kat had a fantastic party with family, friends and co-workers, where we all got to celebrate, talk, laugh, pig-out (well, Keith DID do the bar-b-queing!! And, BOY am I still full!!) and keep slapping them on the backs (did we just cause our L&I ins. monies to increase?) for a job well-done! The mind is such a terrible thing to waste......but NOT Keith!!
And, soon to follow in his footsteps, Vince will be graduating from Pre-school on Wednesday nite!!!! You don't think I'll have tears in my eyes, do you?!
Ohhhh, the men in one's life.....enjoy!
