I'm hanging in! Santa arrived last weekend and we developed 14 rolls of film, of the most beautiful and funniest children! Each year, as we develop the pix, we kind of find our favorites. A lot of horrifed, screaming children, arms outstretched towards mommy, tears streaming down their faces.......but, do any of us remember the trauma? I think not.
My all-time favorite was taken a few years ago. A little girl, around 8 yrs. old, was in a fancy, blue dress, curls cascading down her shoulders. Santa was sitting in his red, velvet chair, with wondering eyes that had that slight twinkle in them. Problem? Girl was about 4' in front and to the left of Santa, with her arms crossed boldly across her chest, eyes just glaring, like, "Who put me here? I really don't want to be here!". Now, that picture will be priceless when she grows up!!
Thanksgiving was a feast! I'm still eating left-overs (that's why I insist on buying and cooking the turkey!), and I've realized that this food is like a warm, fuzzy blanket when things don't go right. Okay, lets not get into eating disorders!
Customers are letting go of their anger, and the holiday feelings are starting to emerge. Great job all!!
